Redwood PTSA organizes several events throughout the school year to show appreciation to our Redwood staff

The Redwood PTSA organizes several events throughout the school year to show appreciation to our Redwood staff (teachers, support staff, etc.). Your PTSA dues help fund these events that are loved by all:

  • Monthly treats provided at one of their weekly staff meetings
  • Food for the fabulous end-of-year staff BBQ held in May
  • Coffee and breakfast a few times during the year

An additional staff appreciation event that PTSA organizes is a gift raffle held during the staff meetings when we provide treats. PTSA collects gift cards from families throughout the school year, names are pulled out of a bowl at the meetings, and 20-25 staff members receive a gift card each month. The goal is to have each staff member receive a gift card over the course of the year.

We’d love your help to maintain this program, as the gift cards are not covered by PTSA dues. Please sign up here to contribute a gift card or to get more information. Thank you for your support of the PTSA and Redwood teachers and staff!

Please note that we do not do any type of collection before the break in December. Our next ask for contributions will be in May when we again do a collection for gift cards to give out to each staff member at our big PTSA staff BBQ as a thank you for the school year. Thank you in advance for showing your appreciation to all of our staff.

Dr. Payne Answers Your Questions

Dr. Payne
Friday, October 27, from 8:45-10am, Redwood Library

Please join RHS Principal, Dr. Barnaby Payne, for the first Q&A of the school year. This is an informal question-and-answer session organized by the PTSA and is open to all RHS parents and caregivers. Please bring any Redwood-related questions with you, or you can email your questions ahead of time to PTSA President, Kim Sichel, and they’ll be provided to Dr. Payne prior to the event so there’s time for all to be answered.
